Essential Insights on Organic cotton

Our range of organic cotton pillows prioritizes quality sleep and offers customizable comfort with innovative foam cotton. Sourced from smallholder farmers in Sri Lanka, our 100% GOLS Certified organic Dunlop cotton foam is consciously crafted, promoting a safer environment and better working conditions while ensuring the safety and health of you and your household.

Certified Organic cotton: Ensuring Quality and Sustainability :

Similar to our adherence to the rigorous GOTS certification process for ensuring the safety and sustainability of our cotton and linen products, the Global Organic cotton Standard (GOLS) represents the highest level of certification worldwide for organic cotton pillow products, guaranteeing that they are at least 95% organic in origin and undergo a traceable journey of environmentally and ethically responsible practices. From farm to processing, handling, packing, and labeling, every step of the supply chain is meticulously recorded and subject to annual audits by an independent third party to meet the impeccable standards set by GOLS.

These requirements encompass strict regulations for waste and pollution management, energy and water conservation, health and safety measures at all certified locations, and the provision of competitive living wages for all staff. Furthermore, GOLS mandates that any additional materials used, such as our organic pillowcases, must also be GOTS-certified, reinforcing our commitment to accountability and sustainability throughout our partnerships.

Enhanced Energy Efficiency: A More Sustainable Approach :

The Havea Brasiliensis tree, from which our organic cotton is sourced, has a natural ability to absorb carbon from the atmosphere and store it in the soil, making it an important ally in combating climate change. Harvesting organic cotton pillow is a time-consuming process, with one cup of raw rubber taking a full day to collect and around 53 trees needed to make each pillow. These rubber trees are grown on leased rain-fed, certified organic former tea plantations, ensuring they are free from harmful chemicals used in conventional farming. By avoiding chemical use, we protect the soil and nearby waterways that have already been impacted by non-organic agriculture.

Resistant to Mold and Mildew: Maintaining a Clean and Healthy Environment:

Experience the benefits of organic cotton as a breathable, supportive, and hypoallergenic alternative to traditional down or synthetic fillers. Our range of organic cotton pillows offers superior ventilation, effectively resists the growth of mold and mildew, and naturally repels dust mites that carry allergens. With GOLS certification, our organic cotton pillows are ideal for individuals with skin sensitivities and allergies, as well as those residing in humid environments.

Shredded or Molded cotton Pillow: Making the Right Choice for Your Sleeping Comfort.

Our organic cotton pillows come in two styles: shredded and molded. The Organic Shredded cotton Pillow offers the loft of a traditional down pillow while maintaining its shape and allowing for customization by adjusting or removing the fill. It provides a comfortable and adjustable sleep experience. The Molded Organic cotton Pillow, on the other hand, offers resilient support with its contoured design, promoting proper spinal alignment and lasting comfort. It retains its shape over time, providing long-lasting support for a restful sleep.
